Brian specializes in Impact and Benefits Agreement negotiations, business planning and mentoring, and organizational development for clients in northern Canada.

Prior to relocating to Winnipeg in 2006, he held senior positions with a number of Inuit organizations tasked with creating economic opportunity, including Nunavut Tunngavik Inc., Qikiqtaaluk Corporation, and Kakivak Association. He first went north to start a successful tool store and mail order business in 1989, after working in forestry and managing a national retreat centre.

Brian is known for his relaxed, analytic approach to solving complex problems northern organizations face as they work to improve their regions. Brian also speaks French and some German.

For over 20 years, he has lead classes and seminars in meditation and stress management. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry (BSF) from the University of British Columbia, 1983.
